I absolutely loved the guided tour. The route was perfectly planned, very balanced regarding walking and stopping. The highlight was, of course, our guide. Thomas was very knowledgeable about Paris’ history and transmitted that in a very engaging and interesting manner. Information and jokes were also perfectly balanced. I super recommend and if I come back to Paris again with other friends, I will definitely get his tour again.
The prices are quite “impressive” – especially if you consider that a WHOLE WEEK(!) on the local RATP grid in and around Paris (zones 1-5) costs only 30,– €! Moreover, the buses drive often really roughly, which makes it difficult to take photos during the journey. Otherwise OK. And it’s good that the daily ticket doesn’t include only the current day, but 24 hours from the first enter of the bus.
The city was very busy but we were able to get seats and had headphones for guide. Excellent destinations and our accommodation was right by the arc de triomph stop. Only starting at 10am was a bit late. The boat tour was simple but we finished at sunset as the Eiffel Tower lit up which was spectacular. A bar on the boat would have been great – the vending machine wasn’t working Overall excellent Merci
